synopsis

The film describes the last hours of Manuel Laureano Rodríguez Sánchez, the legendary “Manolete,” before he enters the bullring and dies tragically at the Linares Plaza, in Jaén. Through flashbacks, he revisits several episodes from his past, from the beginning of his career to the final moment. His talent as a bullfighter made him a star and symbol of a nation, and his charisma, an international jet set figure. His love life was also of great interest to the public, specially his relationship with actress Lupe Sino, known for its intensity, passion and jealousy; thus, it is the main focus of this story.
