This series describes the situation in Texas in 1836 when it was claimed by Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna in the midst of tensions with the US and with the Comanche and Karankawa people who fought to defend their lands. General Sam Houston, founder of the Texas Rangers, leads battles against Mexican troops in hopes of vengeance for the defeat at The Alamo and in order to recover Texas for the North Americans.
